With a Telegram bot, your customers chat with your agent from Telegram. TukiAssistant sets up the bot's webhook for you.

You need the admin role in the workspace and a published agent.

## Steps

1. **Create the bot with BotFather**

    In Telegram, open a chat with [@BotFather](https://t.me/BotFather) and send `/newbot`.

2. **Save the token**

    Choose a name and a username for the bot. BotFather replies with the bot token: a text like `123456789:AA...`. Copy it.

3. **Open Integrations**

    In TukiAssistant, open **Integrations** in the sidebar.

4. **Choose Telegram**

    Under **Add integration**, click **Telegram**.

5. **Fill in the bot details**

    Enter an **Integration name** and paste the token in **Bot Token**.

6. **Choose the agent**

    In **Agent**, choose the agent that will answer.

7. **Create the integration**

    Click **Create**. TukiAssistant registers the webhook with Telegram.

8. **Message your bot**

    Write to your bot from Telegram. The agent answers within a few seconds.

When you open the connected bot, you see the Telegram webhook status. If it shows an error, check that the token is the one BotFather gave you.
